MY CAREER as a producer, director, video maker, and performer has taken me to amazing places and introduced me to remarkable people. I've interviewed newsmakers and celebrities, reported on fires, floods and a tragic workplace massacre. I've had drinks with the mayor on New Years day and broadcast live from the Skydiver amusement ride. I've even judged a pet rock contest.
I love learning about other people's lives and experiences and then telling their story. Whether entertaining, informative, educational or promotional, the stories I tell have a positive effect on our world. Sound, video, radio, TV, the Internet: these are my canvas.
I am a show runner. I write scripts, create and produce programs. I understand how to fit all the pieces together to create an exciting, entertaining show, and can take a project from its initial concept though final production and distribution. I excel at solving difficult problems. Some people even call me a “fixer.”
The unifying force throughout my career? Stories. Everybody has a story to tell, and I help them tell it.
Such as Exploring and Drilling for Oil. Aimed at potential investors, this video explains the technical process and financial model of domestic oil exploration.
I solve logistical problems, schedule talent and crews, manage resources, and ensure that all of the pieces are in place for a successful shoot.
CREATE PILOT EPISODES AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
New shows like Talking Sex, a WHDH program in which a sex researcher and a psychologist answered questions and advised listeners about interpersonal relationships, and special projects like Live Music Weekends, featuring numerous bands performing live from station studios.
Special Reports such as Election Central, an all-out effort to provide comprehensive nationwide results. With reports from correspondents across the country, this coverage attracted notice in the community for timeliness, presentation, and depth of reporting.
VOICE OVERS
Voiceovers for commercials, sales presentations, and e-learning projects for an international roster of clients including BankIslam (Malaysia) credit cards and London-based financial services company, Manage Aid Inc.
My commercial music tracks are available exclusively through POND5.com, and custom radio jingles I produced can be heard on WRIP-FM, Windham, NY.
In addition to hosting WBPX's weekly Norwell News, I've hosted shows for news/talk, CHR, country, A/C and AOR stations, and have appeared in two films: a supporting role in Yngr4Oldr, and as an extra in American Hustle
GERARD-EDMUNDS ENTERTAINMENT didn’t like the promo another producer made for their new reality series. So they called me to fix it. Using their original footage and tricks borrowed from music videos I created a sizzle that really worked.
"This is a spot I can show to the networks!" said the happy client.
WBPX-TV needed to get a public affairs show on the air quickly and at low cost to protect the station’s license. Management tapped me to get it done.
I created and hosted the show, and supervised production. Its popularity resulted in three years of reruns even after production had ceased. 26 episodes.
